§ SERVICES / WEB DEVELOPMENT

Custom WordPress development for shops, applications and configurators.

Custom WordPress development and Shopify, built in code. From corporate sites to product configurators, invoice systems and custom backends. No page builders, no template bloat, only work that's still yours in three years.

§ 01 / Scope

What's covered under custom WordPress development at Yezo?

Custom WordPress development at Yezo means custom themes in PHP and Carbon Fields, custom Shopify in Liquid, and backend tooling for B2B. No Elementor, Divi or WPBakery: those generate bloated HTML that slows sites and makes hand-off painful. What I build is readable code any experienced WordPress developer can pick up.

01

Corporate sites and landing pages

Custom WordPress themes with Carbon Fields v3. GSAP scroll-driven storytelling where it works, static pages where that's better. Suitable for B2B corporate sites and international product landing pages.

02

E-commerce

Custom Shopify themes in Liquid and custom WordPress shops. No page builders. For B2B catalogs, often custom WordPress over WooCommerce.

03

Product configurators and filters

Faceted filters, SKU normalization, taxonomy-driven archives. With Alpine.js for interactivity. For product ranges with dozens to hundreds of variants.

04

Invoice and quote systems

Self-service quote flows with PDF generation and email delivery. On Cloudflare Workers for zero-overhead infrastructure. Customers configure and receive a PDF quote immediately.

05

Backend applications and admin tooling

Custom WordPress dashboards and backend tools for client-specific workflows. For example a lead-routing UI or an internal content pipeline.

§ 02 / For whom

When is custom WordPress development the right call?

Custom WordPress development is the right call when a template theme no longer fits your workflow: a product range that needs filters, sales hours bleeding into manual quotes, or an existing site that no longer scales to new requirements. For B2B with specific workflows, custom code is more predictable than stacking plugins.

  • 01

A B2B company with a wide product range that wants customers to find the right variant themselves, instead of emailing for specs.

  • 02

An organization where the sales team loses hours on manual quotes for products that get configured.

  • 03

A company with an existing WordPress site that no longer scales to the growing portfolio or new requirements.

§ 03 / Recent work

Which projects shipped recently?

01
ePAK International 2023 – present

296 historical SKU codes spread over years; customers couldn't find the right wafer-cassette variant without emailing.

For ePAK I built a WordPress + Carbon Fields + Alpine.js product configurator that normalizes 296 SKUs into 82 canonical variants, with faceted filtering that walks customers through the catalog in seconds.

02
Wafercassettes.com 2024

Customers had to email back and forth for quotes on standard wafer-cassette specifications.

For Wafercassettes I delivered a multi-step quote flow on a Cloudflare Worker, with pdf-lib for PDF generation and Resend for email delivery. Customers fill in specs themselves and receive a PDF quote immediately.

03
ePAK eGaN solution-line 2025

A new product line (eGaN canisters for semiconductor) needed a dedicated landing page with scroll-driven product narrative.

For the eGaN launch I developed a custom landing page with GSAP scroll-driven animation, Carbon Fields for content management, and hreflang corrections for international markets.

04
Autodakservice 2024

An existing site that didn't reflect the company's professionalism.

For Autodakservice I built a custom WordPress theme on the Yezo stack, with focus on readability, speed and easy content management.

§ 04 / Process

The stack and process

I work in custom code, not page builders. That means a cleaner project you can maintain yourself or hand to another developer without vendor lock-in. Standard stack for custom WordPress development: WordPress with Carbon Fields v3 for content modelling, Tailwind v4 for styling, Alpine.js for interactivity and GSAP for animation. For edge work I use Cloudflare Workers, for builds Vite. At ePAK the product configurator and international landing pages have been running on this stack since 2023; what I learned there about scale and hreflang goes one-to-one into new projects. Code is delivered documented so handover to a team or agency works without vendor lock-in.

§ 05 / FAQ

Frequently asked

Page builders generate extra HTML, CSS and JavaScript that slow a site down and make it hard to hand over. Custom code stays clean, performant and is readable for other developers. For B2B sites that want to be taken seriously, that's the difference between "it works" and "it scales".

Every engagement starts with a short intake call where we set scope and feasibility. Based on that intake you get a no-strings price indication and a fixed-scope quote within one working day. During the build we work in short iterations with direct demos through a staging environment. A corporate site with a custom theme runs through this in 3–5 weeks, a product configurator or quote system in 6–10 weeks. After launch, maintenance and further development sit in an ongoing partnership arrangement, not scattered hourly invoices.

Both. Often a hybrid approach is best: keep existing content, replace the theme, or add a specific section (like a configurator) to an existing site.

No problem. Yezo delivers the work on a standard stack (WordPress + Carbon Fields + Tailwind) that any experienced WordPress developer can pick up. Yezo works in ongoing partnerships, no throwaway projects. Maintenance, further development and small adjustments are part of an ongoing arrangement, no scattered hourly invoices.

Yes. WordPress + Carbon Fields + Tailwind is a standard stack that any experienced WordPress developer can pick up. Code is delivered documented and readable.
